Hadley beamed at all the students filing into her classroom. Most of them just seemed to give her the usual 'Good morning, Professor', to which she nodded back and replied back dutifully with a 'Good morning' of her own. Beaming when some of the new students even introduced themselves.

Vickers paused for a moment, given that the description echoing in his head is the textbook version. Finally he raised his hand
"Professor, Arithmancy is divination through numbers as well as the study of the magical properties of numbers." Still too bookish? Well thats just how it is to him.
