Oh yeah, Lewis was the name of her boyfriend. "Do you suppose Lewis is in some kind of trouble?'' the boy as hesitantly. He didn't want to upset the Lion...
As Kurumi began to interpret her own dreams, Jory exclaimed jokingly "Hey, that's my job.'' No matter though, he was going to say almost the same thing.
So, moving on. Cats. "Cats represent ill luck,'' he read and his voice went quieter at each word. More depressing stuff. "But that's if it isn't killed or driven away.'' So there was hope. "Did you banish it or anything?''
The final symbol. Obviously there would be no dragon stuffed animal. So Jory began to look for stuffed animals or toys. "Toys represents family joys.''
"So, You're waiting for something,'' he began. "You and Lewis love each other. You'll have an enjoyable time with family or friends.'' He hesitated at the cat part. "If you didn't banish or killed that cat you will have bad luck... but on the bright side you'll experience family joys.'' He really hope the cat didn't mean bad luck for the prefect.
Lewis....in trouble?
"
Um...not that I know of..." she said, blinking in confusion for a moment. Unless he wasn't telling her something. Or maybe he was in trouble in the sense that he wasn't sure what to do after Hogwarts. It had mostly been her talking about university, which was rather selfish of her now that she got to thinking about it.
Kurumi laughed softly. "
Right, shutting up." Although she very well might go back and read up on these symbols herself after the lesson. NOT that she was interested in the subject at all. It would be more to appease her curiosity.
"
Nope...it was actually my cat, well...kneazle...and he was sitting on my lap purring." Of course. Animals were always some sort of bad news in dreams. Whatever. She knew her pet wasn't a bad omen.
Pondering all this for a moment, Kurumi tuned back in just as Jory was going over the entire meaning of her dream - or whatever bits of it she had recalled. Sitting up now, Kurumi couldn't help but raise an eyebrow. "
Banish of kill a cat? Right...like I am the sort of person to dream about something that cruel," she scoffed slightly. And THAT was supposed to represent good luck? Killing a creature. Yep, Divination was rubbish. "
I may have shooed my cat away because he was pawing at one of my strawberries." Did that mean that Walnut was trying to get between her and her requited love? Heh, sounded like something crazy enough for this subject to think up.
Vague vague and more vague.
"
Um...thanks Jory," Kurumi said with a small bow of the head. He was done with her reading, right? "
Do you remember anything about your dream?" Aka, it was his turn to lie down on the ground.
