Her cheeks rose in color quite a bit, but thankfully the darkness of the classroom hid this from him. Hopefully. "I...didn't walk through it or anything...the first thing I can really recall is just...locking it..."
Cue some more awkward wiggling on the floor by the Gryffindor.
As to what she was doing with the items...that was an entirely different story. She just remembered a room...with a table and two chairs...maybe there had been a bowl of strawberries on the table...
But before she could respond to Jory with more details he had moved on to interpreting more of the images from her dream. "There was a bowl of strawberries...I think..." Kurumi also just really liked strawberries, so it really was no wonder that she was dreaming about them. They were one of her favorite things. "I may have eaten one...or several...but I really don't remember..." It obviously wasn't the most exciting of dreams. As to something she has been wanting for a while... "There is something that I am waiting for...but I haven't been waiting very long. I have to wait until the beginning of February for it to come really." University results.
No lollipops? "What about candy? Or sweets?" Because sometimes you had to go the more abstract route with this already abstract subject. "There was a giant one...sitting across from me at the table...where the strawberries were..."
Had the lollipop eaten a strawberry? Not that having a giant lollipop sitting with you at a table wasn't weird enough on its own.
"Or...wait...there were strawberries and....strawberry lollipops...I was eating one of those..."
Jory noticed Kurumi fidgeting on the floor.
"Are you okay?'' he asked concerned. Giant strawberry sitting opposite her, he didn't find that weird at all. He had crazy dreams like that a lot.
"Okay, I hope that works out in your favour.'' He was referring to the thing she was waiting for.
"Either way with respect to the locking of the door, it means that a friend is in trouble.'' He now paid some more attention to the strawberries.
"It says here, if you eat the strawberry it denotes requited love.''
She had a boyfriend, right? He was thankful the classroom wasn't that lighted because he wasn't very comfortable discussing anything lovey dovey. Except maybe with Ari.
The badger took the suggestion and flipped through the book to look for candy.
"Eating candy represents social pleasures,'' he read.
"So, you'll have a rather enjoyable time the next time you're out with family or friends.''
