Slipping inside the kitchen, the nervous redhead allowed the portrait of a bowl of fruit to close quietly behind her. She remained at the entrance, however, wringing her hands and looking around; she was perhaps a little nervous that there actually was a Hufflepuff barbeque going on in the kitchens but when her nose didn't corroborate Peeves' story, the Headmistress seemed to breathe a sigh of relief.
Her face still showed anxiety though. "House elves? Algamus? Argyle? Nimma? Schmoooop?"
Anyone? Everyone? Annie took a tiny step closer to the House Elf Zone. "I need to speak with an elf..." Preferably the head elf, really. He was supposed to be in charge here.
Beezley was in the far part of the kitchen when she heard somebody calling for the elfsies. Her little elfish ears perked up, and she immediately put down the utensils she'd been working with. Beezley had lots and lots of work to do, but Beezley would finish it later. Beezley knew that voice calling for the elfsies.
"Beezley is here, Missus," she said, stepping into the part of the kitchen the headmistress was in.
"Beezley is here for whatever Missus needs." The elf came to a stop when she was a good distance away from the headmistress and looked up at her with wide eyes.
