Cardigan hadn't had a free hour of relaxation in a while! Her schedule was so hectic, as most would say. Class had seemed to become more frequent now. Astronomy had started WAY early in the year. It was...what was the word...blasphemy! The sacred break at the beginning of the school year had to be left untouched! It hadn't happened before. Maybe it had something to do with the new Headmistress! She willed more learning on them, kinda.... Eeewww.

Needless to say, she needed a mental break. Normally, she would go to the duck pond and sit on the big rock overlooking it, but that had been replaced by the hot spring. Was it even safe to go in? Were hot springs too hot to go in? It looked dangerously mysterious... At parks and stuff, they were illegal to go in, and were rainbow. Some of them, at least. If you dropped your camera in those, it would melt, sink and then die. Cameras could die, right?

Oh well. Cardigan sat by the edge of the spring, not wanting to ever go in until she was sure it was safe. She couldn't now. It wasn't swimming weather! She could just feel the heat! Wasn't heat dangerous? Didn't that make THIS dangerous? Well, there'd only be one way to tell...
