Maxwell shrugged. "I'm getting used to it, actually it's making me less social..there's no one around for miles, i've been spending a lot more time alone. But it's been fun, exploring...there are mountains to climb and stuff." He said thinking of how he spent the summer.
"I think if anyone can do it, it would be you.." He said thinking how she was always so close to the top of their class. The next part, while Max hoped it wasn't intended to, stung him. "Yeah....thanks.." He said awkwardly. It'snot that he wasn't happy with Elliot. She was incredible, smart, sarcastic, blunt and funny, and a good kisser...hehe...he liked having him as his girlfriend. But Minerva was his first love, and for some reason that never leaves you.
