Especially no stinking slytherins. Although there was one nice Slytherin. Daichi was not a stinky one at all. He was very nice, and he had a teddy too.
"It will." She smiled, giggling a little as he wiped her tears away. "You're robes are all wet now..." She mumbled with a little grin. Oh. The real Indy was back. Oh dear. Oh Bee. Indy frowned, chewing on her lip. "She knew..." She mumbled, blinking back tears. "She knew Dylan was going to dump me...." Max chuckled, glad that her mood seemed to be lightening. "Pink Ted?" Ted? Like... a teddy bear? Or was there someone in her life named Theodore that he didn't know about? Either way, he was honored to be considered one of the lucky few to be prized in her life. "Very good. Make sure you keep that mindset, please."
He knew that all too often people in ended relationships 'learned their lessons,' then simply moved onto the next love interest with no regard for the previous experiences they went through. It seemed silly.
"That's okay. It'll dry," Max offered, not wanting her to feel bad. It WAS just clothing, after all. A friend's reduced sadness was worth all the soaked robe sleeves in the world. And then Indy went on about Beezus. Oh.
"...Oh." Hm. He paused, thoughtfully considering the situation, then asked, "Well, what could she have done about it? That's a tough situation to be in, y'know? If one of my friends was going to be broken up with and I knew about it ahead of time, I think... I'd be in a tough position. Because I'd want to give the friend a heads up, but then again... it's not my place to interfere in a relationship. Y'know? So that must've been an awkward situation for her. Did she... tell you he was going to do it?"
