But it sounded like she may help him, which gave him some relief. "Um, no. I don't really know too many spells yet. This is my first lesson!" The last bit was said somewhat defensively. He didn't like it when his knowledge about something was lacking. Perhaps it was the family Ravenclaw roots talking. "But yes, please. That would be nice." Not that there was any guarantee he could get that spell to work, either.
Kurumi laughed softly and tucked a strand of her dark hair behind her right ear. "
I'm sure you'll be fine, with not melting I mean. Seems to be something that I just do whenever learning a new spell," she said with a quick wink. Really, there were worse things that could happen than melting something. Kurumi had seen quite a few in her seven terms at Hogwarts.
Kurumi twirled her wand between her fingers again and looked at the Hufflepuff. "Not to worry, this spell is rather basic and with some practice you shouldn't have any trouble," she nodded. "
The incantation is Reverto and you just need a light flourish with your wand." Kurumi then turned her attention to her humble black t-shirt with pale lavender stripes on the chest. "
I'll show you with mine." Because he should try on his own. Kurumi then pointed her wand towards her mannequin and gave it a light flourish. "
Reverto." Within a few moments the shirt was no more and it was back to a trash bag. "
Why don't you give it a go?"
