And he thought he it as a bizarre mutation of a melted garbage bag.
He held his hand out and intro'd himself "Hi, the name's Vickers..." he murmured to the other boy "Thats actually what I was hoping I'd get. " he said as he nudged his head at the t-shirt on the other mannequin.

After she asked, she went back to her seat and tried to think of another sweater to put on her mannequin. She tried to do some house pride.."Summus Vestis!" Belle said with the Z formation but it didn't work. "Hmm maybe that is too advanced." Belle thought to herself. "I will go with something simple." Belle decided on. She pictured a light blue cardigan she loved back home. When she had the clear picture, she said "Summus Vestis!" out loud with a Z formation wand movement and POP it appeared. Belle smiled and was glad she got the hang of it really well. She copied down the spell to her notebook.
Ethan leaned over, grasped Vickers' outstretched hand, and gave it a firm shake.
"Hi... I'm Ethan," he greeted the other boy in return.
"I guess you have some epic fashion sense you didn't realize you had," he added with a grin when it became clear that Vickers hadn't really intended a fashion-forward vest for his mannequin. Ethan still thought it looked pretty cool even if it wasn't the hoped-for outcome.
The fifth year followed the older boy's gaze to his own mannequin shirt and he put his hand under the threadbare fabric, easily able to see through it to his hand.
"I was hoping for a little more... substance," he admitted, slightly disappointed.
"Something of a tricky spell," he murmured, again wondering if what he had was good enough. Why did it seem so much easier for some of the other students (and younger ones at that) to be able to conjure up such intricate designs while he had trouble with a basic white t-shirt.
He looked up at Belle as she approached his desk. Did he need help? Although he'd admit that was sweet of her to offer, Ethan was a bit reluctant to accept assistance. He didn't want to look completely hopeless. He was a fifth year, after all, not a first year.
"No... thanks though," he said, managing a grateful smile.
"I think I got it now," Ethan added, gesturing to the shirt (albeit threadbare, but it was still a shirt!) on his mannequin.
"Maybe just a little more practice." He decided on starting again.
"Reverto."
