It can't only be when you feel threatened, unless you know for sure that your opponent is or could be dangerous, because it may turn out that they were not a threat at all and it only seemed like it." She paused for a moment to think before adding, "So, with a few exceptions such as dark creatures, it really depends on the situation and a being's intent and actions towards you. It can be difficult to determine someone's or something's intentions, so you really need to be able to analyze the situation quickly."
