Oh. A gift? Raising her shoulders and eyebrows, the Ravenclaw gave her friend a quizzical look. "What gift?" Was it inside the box on her feet...with the holes on it? She was very curious now! "What is it Cass?"
"At least you could nap after Herbology!" Cass said with a laugh
"I needed a shower every time that class finished!" She said, recalling her Herbology misadventures...Her and magical plants, definitely do not mix.
"Aww, thank you" Cass said with a smile, sheepishly accepting the compliment . She honestly didn't feel pretty in her rumpled, since this morning, school robes, but whatever.
The blonde then grinned excitedly as she crouched down to the box's level and said
"Remember last summer when you wouldn't shut up about wanting a dog?" Or rather who wouldn't forget that Beezus wouldn't shut up about puppies...
"Well, a few days before we left for Hogwarts, someone left a litter of Pomeranian puppies on our doorstep, and I just remembered that you wanted one the other day - so I had mother send one over."
She then opened the box and revealed a small
brown, furry puppy with sparkling brown eyes that were looking up at them.
"We already took them to a muggle vet, so he already has all of his shots - all you need to do is maintain them, and have him vaccinated again when he grows up, I think.." She said
" I wasn't paying much attention to the vet's instructions." "So, what do you think?"
