SPOILER!!: Professor Magnus

Alyssa giggled when Professor Magnus told her that she could keep the clothing she wanted to transform into plastic. She definitely had no wish to do that. So she listened as the Professor told them what the incantation of the spell to was and then the wand movements.

Picking up her quill she wrote what the Professor said in her journal.

Alyssa first practiced saying the incantation to the spell.

"Sum-mus Vesti-is......Summus Vestis.....Summus Vestis...Summus Vestis." After practicing the incantation a couple of times, Alyssa then switched to practising the wand movement.

Using her finger like as if it was her wand she made a zig zag like she was tracing out the letter Z right in front of the plastic bag. Now that wasn't too hard. It was like she was that muggle Spanish hero Zorro who would slash a Z on the shirts of his enemies. Alyssa again giggle to herself before realizing that she needed to be more serious.

Now it was time to try out the spell to see what she could make the plastic bag turn into. First she needed to decided what she wanted it to be. After some thinking, she decided to see whether she could make it a white sweater.

Alyssa cleared her mind and concentrated on the spell and what she wanted to transform the plastic bag into. Then she opened her eyes and looking at the plastic bag, she visualized what the sweater looked like and waving her wand in a Z shape over the plastic bag, said, "SUMMUS VESTIS".

A beam of light shot out and hit the plastic bag and when it disappeared instead of a plastic bag, was a white shawl

Alyssa sighed. 'Well at least it was white and it does cover the shoulders like a sweater would. But it's not the sweater I want.' Alyssa thought to herself. Pointing her wand at the shawl, she said, "REVERTO" changing it back into a plastic bag again.

Alyssa knew that she needed to concentrate harder on the spell and her intent before trying again.
