"As I said, skill level comes in to it a great deal. Very experienced witches and wizards will be able to turn almost anything into any size or material, should they choose to. I've obviously gone for something easier for you all as you have yet to try this out," Isabelle smiled.
Well, that was good to know that the laws of equivalent exchange were something purely out of fantasy. It was something that never ceased to amaze her about magic. Scientific laws, the ones she had learned about before attending Hogwarts in her nonmagical school, simply didn't apply. Not that this law of equivalent exchange was actually something that had been in her textbooks or anything.
Nodding, Kurumi returned to her notes and wrote down a few more tid bits based on Professor Magnus' response to her question...along with BIG THICK LETTERS reminding her not to use this new spell on metal because it was a sure way that things would melt.
Not that Kurumi didn't ALREADY melt things on a first go. Sigh.

"The incantation is 'Summus Vestis' and the wand movement is a Z shape in front of the object you are changing. Like so.... Sum-mus Vest-is!" With a sharp zig zag motion the rubbish bag on the mannequin suddenly started growing arms and changing colour to a blue and black check diamond pattern. Finally what was left was a
jumper.
"Okay, if you've all got that you're more than welcome to start trying it out. The reversal spell is the same as usual, but if you need help with that please ask me or an older student." Isabelle flung her arms out and grinned.
"Away you go." Sketch out a design? Erm...how about we try for a simple white t-shirt first? Or maybe even just a black one since her trash bag covered mannequin was already black and that was one less element she needed to tamper with. Yep, that sounded like a good idea. Simple black t-shirt.
Too bad the spell had a V in it. Kurumi hated V sounds and her hands were already on her cheeks, massaging and tugging on them, to try and loosen their muscles up. "
Summus Vestis...Summus Vestis....Summus Vestis..." Kurumi muttered to herself, somehow managing to make a decent V sound instead of a B one. Tracing a Z in the air a few times just to get the wand movement down, Kurumi turned in her seat and staaaaaaaaaared at the mannequin.
"
I will NOT melt you...I will NOT melt you..." she ended up muttering to herself while rolling her shoulders. Okay...here goes nothing? Tracing a Z in the air, Kurumi repeated the incantation - unfortunately making more of a B sound than a V - and watched as her trash bag began to glow...
..................
o_______________O
Okay...wait...it wasn't just glowing now...
"
KYA!" Kurumi squeaked as she flailed around just a bit with her wand in attempt not to drop it. IT WAS ON FIRE! Kurumi somehow managed to cast a silent Aguamenti, putting out the flames...but not before the bag had melted to the mannequin.
Was Reverto going to work on this mess? Sigh.
