Aidan had been without proper, packaged candy for over a MONTH. Because no one told him to savor his stash. So he ate it all. Almost at once. And then had to get by with occasional chocolate treats from the Great Hall ever since.
To the boy's taste, House Elf goods didn't compare to the unhealthy taste of processed cockroach clusters.
So, much like his trip to Sugarplum's, Aidan grabbed a basket upon entering, and just walked through the aisles, grabbing at least one package of everything.
YEEESSSSSS!!!! Gone were the nights of curling up in a ball on her bed and obsessing over the chocolatey goodness that she had long since gone without. How long had it been since she had a chocolate frog anyway? Merlin, she couldn't even remember! Had it been that long?! It was a wonder she didn't go into withdrawl....
Not.A. Pretty. Sight.
Of course, being in the store she was gonna grab as much as she was sure could last her through another dry spell but for now, her main priority was LE CHOCOLATE FROGS!
Bending the corner of an aisle sharply she found herself running into a boy--one who seemed to have just as unheathy an obsession with sugar as her....he looked loaded.
For a moment she just stood there...staring at him but not sure how to respond. The polite thing to do would be to apologize for running around the candy shop then hitting into him like a madwoman...but Lex wasn't very polite.
"Merlin that's a lot of candy!" That would do.
