He could see the old and shriveled bits from the pruning the girls have been doing, and there was a part of him that kinda wished the Eagles were assigned that task instead. Carefully he distributed the brown stuff around the base of the lavender bushes, patting them down until all the clumps have been sufficiently covered.

The basil herbs were trickier as they were more sensitive than the sturdier lavender herbs, so the Ravenclaw had to scoop the fertilizers with his gloved hand and patted it around the base of the herbs.
