Presley nodded. Her uncle had been a great guy, and Presley still missed him a lot. She could imagine how it much be for Manolo and Awarlesta. And their poor mum. She would be having a rough time of it for sure. She was right, a holiday in Spain would do them a little good.
Instinctively Presley reached out and wrapped her arms around her small cousin. She knew what the girl was going through, she'd been there herself when her mum had passed away.
"You know I'm always here if you need me. Right, Lessie?" Because she was. Bratty and mean as Presley was, nobody could say she wasn't a good listener when they needed her.
