Laura looked at Minerva and sighed. "You know bottling up things doesn't make the problem go away, it's best if you talk about them rather than try and deal with things on your own." Laura gave Minerva a huge hug after saying that. "And the reason I am here is because everytime I try and get some studying done else where people look at me as if it was the first time I'd picked up a book." Laura sighed. "I do have feeling you know."
Minerva smiled at her friend. This was going to be a big adjustment, but if this was real then Minerva was going to accept it. "I'm doing well, just staying busy. I'm glad your doing well." Well as well as Minerva thought she was doing. This was all still so weird to see.
Minerva looked back at her book, "I know.. It's just so much went on over the summer my head is still spinning from it all. Then I finally get to come back here where I thought all would be normal and so much has changed here as well." Including her friend she was sitting next to. Funny that the same person that just told her the other day she did not know a certain boy, but yet Minerva had heard from not just one person that they did date, was telling her not to bottle things up. Then she sighed, "Laura, you have to understand. Everyone has known the Laura that didn't seem to care about studying, didn't seem interested in classes, and loved to have fun and push professors buttons is now being nice to professors, giving friends advice on how to be good, going to class and being good, plus studying is just a little different. Give it time and everyone will stop asking and just think it's normal." she hoped she said the right things and it would help Laura understand why everyone was questioning her.
