The past few days, she had lost count of the times that Athena took her anger out on her feet and legs. If she didn't love the beast so, she would have allowed Jade to take her when she had moved out.

It was that time of year again. The time of year where the street of Diagon Alley was empty, and Destiny Shepard was left alone in the Magical Menagerie bored out of her mind. She didn't understand why the shop was so empty. People didn't want to buy pets in the fall?

Where they only summer animals!?

Surely not. Who wouldn't want a Fire-Crab in the winter? Or even something cuddly to keep them warm! Animals were an year round thing. And just as she was thinking that, Destiny heard the little bell above the shop door jingle and she jumped up from behind the counter where she was sitting. It took her a few seconds to spot the customer and when she did..

"MINA!!" Rushing out from behind the counter, she stopped when she was standing right next to her friend. Her friend who she had not seen in what felt like FOREVER! "Are you buying a pet?" Because that was the most important question.
