Oliver ran after it. He was gonna get this mousie, he knew it! He was an excellent hunter. He really was, and he was very proud of it. He killed basically ANYTHING he caught! And he was not gonna let this mousie get away, noooo way! He ran after the mouse to the entrance of the courtyard and pounced on it, watching as it squirmed underneath his paws. "Meowwww!" he mewed, tearing at it with his claws.
"That way?" Ronnie asked, looking at where he pointed. "C'mon!" she said, grabbing his hand and running towards where he had pointed. She needed to find her baby!
"Oh, well...lately he's been acting strange. He keeps randomly running off a lot." she explained, shaking her head as she contiuned to look for Oliver. "I have no idea what's gotten into hi- EWWW!" she shrieked, looking at a dead mouse in front of her. She looked at the kitten sitting behind it, looking quite proud of himself. Well, that's what it looked like to her, anyways. She put her hands on her hips and shook her head. "Oliver! Gross! Did you do this?!" she asked, picking him up. "Don't you ever run away again!" she said.
She then turned to Nigel. "Well, I found him." she said with a sigh. She glanced at the dead mouse then back at Nigel. "I think he did that.." she said, pointing at the mouse with her free arm. EWW.
From what Nigel gathered. It seemed that her cat did not really like her. Plus, since it looked like Nigel was not going to get the nap he wanted. He would help Ronnie.
Nigel walked with Ronnie till they reached her cat. It seemed pleased with itself after it caught the mouse. It seemed that the work was done and Ronnie had her cat again. Even if it had a dead mouse it's mouth. Now Ronnie was threatening her cat. Well, that was not the way to deal with any animal.
" Ronnie if you say don't run away again. Your cat is going to run away the first chance it sees a mouse. Now if you buy your cat dead mice to eat them it might stay closer to you to be fed."
Ronnie's cat looked a lot smart then Nigel thought. He would never understand cats.
