Sierra actually perked up when she heard the chains rattling behind her. Of course they weren't real chain. After five full years of being exposed to the Bloody Baron, she knew they were only ghostly chains. She actually turned toward him with a grin on her face. Ahh, the Bloody Baron. ...and just as the ghost passed her by, Sierra's head was turned in a way that gave her a full view of one of the Slytherins raising their wand and casting on another student. She frowned. Wasn't this the same group who got themselves into trouble earlier?

Really? REALLY?! A table full of professors and the Headmistress was just yards away, and one of the Slytherins decides to draw their wand and cast on somebody? "You're seriously drawing your wand and casting while they," she said, gesturing toward the staff table, "are just footsteps away?" What was the deal with the students on this end of the table? "Are you trying to land us in third place again? Or worse, ...dead last."

The other girl was a Gryffindor. If she wanted to get herself into trouble, so be it, but the Slytherins just couldn't go down for the Gryffindors.

Serenity grabbed her paper and scribbled, She's just helping, we got into trouble with a Professor, Serenity didn't actually know his name, then continued to write, he gave us and the Slytherin idiots silencing charms an took some points off her, but someone took her charm off, she was lucky the professor didn't find out. So the kid was just helping out Serenity finished. That had taken up masses of her paper. And... wait Lex had beaten her to it. Oh well.

And then she saw the kid's 'P' badge. Serenity wanted one. She was like a magpie, drawn to shiny things. Coincidentally, she supported the Montrose Magpies quidditch team. But anyway, even if she was a Prefect, she better not tell the Professor... She did 't want them to lose any housepoints did she? Lex had already lost some.

It was pretty lucky the kid had re-charmed Lex, other wise she'd lose 55 points instead of 5, an on her first day as well! Serenity felt kind of bad considering it had been completely Serenity and Theo's fault this had started. Wait, no, just THEO'S.

Faye was so easily distracted right now. Every time she looked back at Ariana she was talking to another person. Jeepers, it was like she new everyone in this castle already and it was only the first day. But then again Faye had to remember that this was her first first day. She smiled at every one now, hoping that she wasn't coming across as rude, she did that so often.

Helping herself to her third helping of chocolate pudding she spooned a mouthful into her mouth and began to swallow. She could live off this pudding, it was the best EVER!! Even better than the stuff her grandmother made at that was saying something.
