He would have said hi to that Bloody Baron but no speaking and all. So, he just sort of waved politely.
He looked at Theo, nudged him gently and then wrote:
No more love potions or girls on account of look what happens
They were aaaall acting cray-cray.
Tic tac toe? He drew a grid and marked an X then nudged his paper closer to Theo, even as he got himself a forkful of potato and gravy.
Theo sighed, reading West's note. The whole love potion thing was something he just wanted to forget. If they were such a problem, why were they sold in a joke shop where kids go all the time? Easy to get into the wrong hands.
Yeah. No more girls ever.
Apart from the cool ones, and there WERE a few exceptions. Theo thought about it carefully and could only count six cool ones. Only six cool girls in the whole school. Wooooow.
Theo was about to cross his O off onto the tic tac toe game, but his eyes were completely fixed upon the Bloody Baron.
He'd never seen a
ghost before, even during his first year. NOT COOL..
He wouldn't say anything, because he couldn't, but also cos he was kinda petrified. Back to tic tac toe, he crossed his O off in the bottom right corner. It was kinda boring, but food helped. He pointed hard along the table, and then got frustrated with everything.
West, pass the salt.
LET HIM SPEAK.
