Finally after she relaxed he dropped it as well. He had only known this girl since the beginning of the feast and she was already exhausting him. Women.

"Well you are definitely more into your studdies than I am." It only takes a small suggestion to get Will to completely disregard whatever course had been previously on his mind. As she commented about dark arts tending to flock towards that part of the continent and nodded his head. "Without a doubt" he told her almost getting lost in his own thoughts. That had often been an issue in his parents marriage, how people from the area were more consumed with the dark arts than people from others. With an English father and a Bulgarian mother it made for more than an interesting household.
Emilia let the silence stretch, feeling the challenge that Will was laying out. She had had enough from the crazy move- she wasn't going to back down to the Bulgarian stranger because of a little stress. Apparently neither of them were going to back down, which could make things very interesting. Finally, the stare down ended- she didn't want to play that game... today, at least.

"Not as much as you may think... didn't you say that there was a studious house? Ravenaw or something? If I were super studious I would have ended up there," she reasoned. "I liked sports just as much as my studies," she told him. "What about you? What do you like to do since you aren't as into classes?" she asked. There had to be something he liked; he couldn't just do potions all day- could he?
