"She decided to transfer. She went to Hogwarts and missed England. She transfered here first and then decided it was best if I came with her" He said summing it all up. Both Will and his sister loved Bulgaria but Will prefered it more than Meredith did.
William could instantly tell that he had struck a nerve when he had said that he was sorry for Emilia. With the change in her body language he could tell that he probably shouldn't have said that. He was kind of shocked, he had just been trying to be polite but apparently that wasn't how she took it. He decided not to say anything though. They had just met and there was no need to get off on bad terms. He gave her a smile and a nod as she said that she was glad to here that Hogwarts was a nice place. Part of him wondered if she was saying that just to please him so he decided not to respond with anymore than the nod.
Potions was without a doubt his favorite. It ran in the family, it was his sister's and father's as well. He was slightly confused when she spoke of DADA by a different name, but they were on the same track once again as she corrected herself. "Thats not so bad" He said to her as she spoke about Defense Against the Dark Arts. "I have to say that I like Defense Against the Dark Arts better than transfiguration though" He said with a small laugh.
Tension seemed to be forming between them, and so Emi decided to back off of the personal questions. That was just how she got to know people. Get to know their background and you get to know the person... besides, it was just small talk. And who didn't like to talk about themselves? But, she was getting distracted. She listened attentively to his story and nodded in understanding. "Sounds nice," she told him sincerely. "I have two older siblings. Once of them travels constantly and the other is on the other side of America... I wish I could have stayed with either one of them, not that it would have helped," she said with a small frown. But there she was, complaining again. She quickly shut that off, determined to change her attitude. Or at least try.
She saw the recognition shine in William's eyes as she spoke the second name. She laughed with him, and nodded. "It's a tricky subject, but I managed to excel in it," she told him proudly. "I want to achieve the animagus form some day, so Transfiguration is the first step," she explained. "But Defense Against the Dark Arts is definitely my best topic," she said with a proud smile.
