Let's face it, even in all her dedication she wouldn't have been able to pay attention for more than a few minutes tops so she wouldn't lie to herself. During the speech she would be thoroughly occupied with other things.
"Oh so you landed on your butt too?!" It seemed that was the most popular way of landing! There were so many that had similar complaints. Oh her? She subtly shifted the hand with her hurt wrist away from the boy. "Um, me? No, I'm fine. I don't have anything serious either." How bad could it have been? So what if it was changing colour, that was probably happening to everyone else too and she didn't feel like missing this feast and chance to socialize just to go looking for the healer. That could wait until sometime later on in the term.
Just then she saw a boy climb onto one of the chairs and begin his own little mini speech. She raised an eyebrow at him when she realized all that he had been saying. "Ew, why would we have boy troubles?" Yeah so she wasn't a puff...but that didn't mean that she didn't have any questions about his little speech, "And other than those unimportant stuff what else are you good at?'
He couldn't help but (manly) giggle at the boy apparently called Elijah. While Dorian didn't mind a bit of school work, he certainly wasn't as determined as some others, so he was pleased to see his house looked fairly laid back. Well, judging by all the people standing on tables, that is.
"
Good to hear it's nothing serious. I bet the healers are swamped right now." He grabbed the front of his hair and tried to ruffle it up a bit more. He heard Alexa question the speech and laughed again. This girl was not afraid to speak her mind!
