Not that Erin knew her family that well. She grew up not knowing any of them but the saying about 'Blood is thicker than water' may be true. It feels like she knew them forever. It felt like, she knew them more than she knew her adoptive family, who she believe all her life was the real one. But that wasn't the point any more. The point is she had a new life, a new family, a new day ahead of her and she should be making the most out of it.
"No. Er, I'm fine. I got some bruises in my arms," she lifted it to show Juliet.
"Here, look." They were in bandage now but she seemed to be showing the wound itself.
"And my muscles' sort of squashed."
She smiled. the silence seemed to be the cue for Erin to speak up.
"I have met this guy, Isaac last term and he told me about portkeys. I guess, the short one-on-one seminar helped me a bit." She needed to thank him for that.
