After the events in the office, Roxanne decided that she needed a break. So, she naturally headed down to the food court to get, at the very least, a cup of coffee. Maybe a slice of that to-die-for chocolate cake. Maybe ease the frustration of not seeming to get anywhere on getting any useful answers to her questions. Well, to be fair, Millie had offered her help if they could ever get that Hogwarts issue solved. So, one useful answer down, still way too many to go.
Anyway, on her way in, she spotted a large chunk of the other side of the office sitting in the seating area, seemingly having some kind of meeting. Well, maybe it wouldn't take someone who was friendly with them to figure out how far long they were with the 'Time Thief' case after all. Just someone with some good social skills. Hmm.... now how to approach the subject. That she figured out on her way over to their table.
As she was heading over, she thought she caught sight of a very familiar sheet of parchment. The same one she had been pouring over all morning. And Jaxton's wording. Interesting. Were they really that much farther along on this case then her own side of the department?
"So, what's going on over here?" she asked casually, trying to cover up the fact that she was fishing for information. And how crazy was that, that she would have to fish for information that should be readily available to the whole department again. Really, reminded her of her first year in the British Ministry, towards the end of the Cult's rein of terror.
