Ladybug?!
Her head jerked toward the door as she took in the site of Mr. Ian Amoroso, her father's best friend since childhood. Sierra was caught between a moment of wanting to be mortified that he was treating her like a four-year-old and grateful that someone was here that she knew well enough to call an ally. Precious?! Ahhh...
...but then the talk moved on her being a prefect, and she felt herself relax considerably.
"That I am," she said with pride.
"Slytherin house, of course." She tapped her badge a few times.
"Congratulations on your new position, by the way." Senior Undersecretary, of course. Why was he riding the train to Hogwarts, though?
...and then a thought occurred to her.
"Is...Jarek...a student here now?" she asked. DEAR MERLIN.

That was supposed to be kept as a thought. It took Nessie a few seconds to actually figure out it was said aloud and when she did. She almost started to scream she was so embarrassed.
"Um..sorry." she said helplessly as she could feel her cheeks begin to redden.
Sierra felt like rolling her eyes, but of course she didn't.
Hufflepuffs, ...you just couldn't bring them out in public anymore, could you?

"Griengoth," she nodded. Not much more to say there. Then she saw Gideon and gave him a small smile,
"Hello there." They would talk later. Besides, she was on a cookie mission. AND ONLY KURUMI HAD THE COOKIES. Speaking of cookies, she was about to sit down beside Kurumi when she saw Louisa. With a smile she said,
"Oh hello Louisa."
Her eyes shot open in shock when it finally clicked what Selina had been missing. She looked between all of the older members in the compartment and exclaimed,
"Oh my! I am so sorry! I had almost forgotten!" She dug deep into her sachel and pulled out flyers,
"Have any of you seen my bat? And, er, excuse the typo... it was two thousand and seventy-eight." Not 2088... Selina was so worried she forgot to double check. COULD YOU BLAME HER? THIS WAS SERIOUS!

Sierra gave the girl a sharp nod in reply to hearing her name. The Slytherin prefect was just about ready to settle down and avoid the rest of the chaos when the Gryffindor captain spoke again.
"Wait a second," she said.
"You mean to tell me that you're missing...your Beater's bat?" So if it were somehow found by just the right person, they could maybe...keep it until the season was over? Therefore leaving the Gryffindor captain without her greatest weapon?
"I'll help you look for it," she offered.

...And there was the thing about him almost losing the badge. The Slytherin Quidditch Captain couldn't very well come to school without THAT important piece of metal...
...But here he was, making his way through the train, shiny pristine badge in place. He'd been stopped several times by random people offering their congratulations on his accomplishment. Dylan wasn't sure if she should be offended or not by the general surprise. Pfft. He'd been the Captain for the better part of last term...Did they not think he'd be keeping it?
Some people... Also...he'd been lucky enough NOT to see either of the Ravenclaw terrors yet. It was a good thing...The Slytherin had decided if he did happen to see them, he'd swiftly jump out of the nearest window. This was NOT an exaggeration...Dylan knew it was just a matter of time, though. Those two were like brain ninjas...and he HATED them both. Yes. HATED. Caps lock necessary.
With the Prefect compartment in view, the Captain paused outside the door and took a deep breath. The other Captains would be in there...and he had no idea who'd been picked. He knew about Ness, but was generally unsure about Ravenclaw. Gah, he was going to hurl if it was who he thought it might be. Not that his discomfort would stop there. Nope...Gah, Indy's brother was the Ravenclaw Prefect, wasn't he? And the girl Prefect. Dylan didn't know her and didn't want to. All Ravenclaw girls were TROUBLE. He'd been involved with enough of them to know first hand...
Yep. So, it was decided. He'd peek his head in for just a moment and then leave. Yes, yes. That was the plan.
Making sure his swagger was in place, Dylan knocked on the door lightly before swinging it open. Stepping into the compartment, he smirked at his fellow leaders. Yep. Shacklebolt was there...as was Skylar (he KNEW she'd be returning) and Dixon. *GLARE*
Oh, Dixon...And to think he'd danced with her...Ick.
Not here, Dylan!!...Wait until you get to school...
...and WHO was this older REDHEADED lady...? Yes, he might have been staring...a little. Who could blame him, though? She had the fabled REDHAIR...and was extremely pretty. There was some other adult in the compartment, too...but Dylan merely glanced at her...Was this lady going to be a teacher? Oooh, what subject? The Captain would definitely make sure to attend her lessons...*cough*
"Greetings to you all." as an afterthought.
"Congratulations, Captain," Sierra said, giving her new captain a grin.
"Well, officially, I mean. You ready for a winning season?" Text Cut: Leeness

Peering through the window slightly he could see that a good number of the Prefects and Captains were present... except for the Hufflepuff boy one that is.
Ahem.
And so the door opened.
"Hello everyone! Oh! I didn't realise we were going to have company in our compartment on the train ride to school guys," he said glancing at his 'fellow' Prefects, flashing them a small warning look out of sight of the adults as if to say 'Don't grass me in or I'll remember it.'
"Hello there," he flashed his best smile, turning to face the adults, "I am Lewis Rasting. I'm the other Hufflepuff prefect." He raised his hand out for one of the adults to take it. They'd all want to grab for it, obviously, since it was practically the world's most gorgeous hand, of course.
Yes. Hands can be gorgeous. Shush.
Wait. Whaaa?!
...bwah hahaha!
The PUFFERS were going to singlehandedly fall to shame, and the best part was, nobody even had to nudge them to do so. Sierra sat back, grin in place. She should encourage 'Lewis' to stroll over and sit with his 'girlfriend'. It'd be nice to watch Hollingberry squirm in awkwardness the entire ride.
GO, LITTLE PUFFER, GO!
