"It makes you hungry travelling, doesn't it?" he chuckled. Or was that just him?
But then she was staring at his rat and his eyes widened. "Yes!" he took the creature out his pocket and shoved it under her nose. "Her name is Brie, she's a very clean rat" much unlike what people thought of the rodents. The shiny brown and white fur and long pink tail reflected Terry's statement perfectly, she certainly was nothing like the black rats you learned about in history spreading disease. "Isn't she pretty?" he asked grinning.
See? Younger students knew stuff. And they could be really helpful. Ariadne looked in the direction where the boy was pointing, and, sure enough, there the lady was.
'Cheers, I appreciate it.' she replied, in her slight Yorkshire accent.
'Not hungry, just...craving for chocolate.' And not just due to travelling. She wanted chocolate. All the time.
Ari wasn't prepared for what happened next-having a rat thrown in her face, that is. She felt like she was going to faint.
'Please take her away.' Where was that cat of hers when she needed him?! Whatever she had thought about younger students before was far from the truth. They weren't helpful at all.
