Kurumi's head was swimming with thoughts as she boarded the Hogwarts Express and reluctantly put on her Gryffindor prefect badge one last time over her
red and white stripped shirt. She would have rather been able to spend this train ride as just Kurumi Hollingberry, no titles...just herself...but she was going to have to put it on sometime... It was a reminder of all her accomplishments...and of her failures...but she didn't allow her mind to linger on this too long as she slide open the door and...
Oh....hello....lots of people....
"
G-Good day," Kurumi said with a somewhat startled expression on her face when she noticed the crowd already present. She had been expecting the other prefects to be here...but not...who ever these people were. She then remembered the conversation she had had with Elijah on the platform over an article in the Daily Prophet about the Board of Governors being on the train and what it could possibly mean.
What DID it mean?
Composing herself quickly, Kurumi adjusted her hold on Walnut's carrier - now he DEFINITELY wasn't being let out - and bowed deeply to the guests first. "
I'm Kurumi Hollingberry."
So much for just setting her remaining things down and leaving, which had been her intention since she had promised several younger students she would met them and answer questions about Hogwarts
and provide cookies. She glanced around at her classmates and sort of gave each of them a small nod in greeting before her eyes were back on their visitors. "
Welcome aboard the Hogwarts Express." And to the prefect compartment too, but that went without saying.
Kurumi took a moment to quickly glance over her shoulder. Nessie had been able to follow her here, right? Kurumi had promised to show the new Hufflepuff captain to the prefect's compartment and with how crowded the corridors were right now, just having departed the station, Kurumi was a bit worried that the red head had gotten lost in the crowd.
