She had to suppress a smirk when the girl stood taller. It reminded Ariadne of herself in her first years. She had always thought she was too short for her age, but not anymore.
Pluto loved being pampered and continued to purr louder. 'Hey, I can't even hear our friend here!' Ari admonished him, laughing. 'Lovely to meet you, Cassia. I hope I heard your name correctly.' Ariadne chuckled. 'You can call me Ari if you want, most people do.' The girl observed how fond of Pluto Cassia was, and had to ask: 'Are you not bringing a familiar to Hogwarts?' Not everyone had a pet in the castle, but it was still quite uncommon not to.
Cassia giggled at that,"
Yeah I've seen some examples of madness last year," She had seen examples enough for a couple of years. Though the madness will probably spread instead of decrease. But that was just fine because when there are madness excitement came along and the twelve year old craved excitement. "
But don't worry you didn't actually reach the madness level," She grinned at Ariadne. Especially that the girl explained the reason she was speaking to
herself her cat about.

You got it right," Not that Cassia was a hard name to be pronounced but still some people got it wrong. Anyway, Cassia appreciated that Ari made sure that she got right. Some people would invent new names for you just because they couldn't remember yours......wait that was Cassia sometimes. "
Yeah Ari is shorter," She told the older girl. And easily to be remembered too she was wanted to add but didn't. She had to improve her memory because now that she's a second year she must not forget names. Yup part of growing up.
Still hunched over the cute cat, Cassia's head turned to Ari automatically when the girl asked her if she was a Gryffindor,"
Nope I'm not," She shook her head. "
I'm a Snake," she said suppressing a big proud grin. It always made her smile when she said she is a Slytherin Cassia guessed it was house proud of something like that. "
I assume you are a Gryffindor?" Cassia wondered.
Cassia had never been mistaken for a Gryffindor before. However, that didn't bother her. Maybe if she had been guessed as a Ravenclaw it would have bothered her because she wasn't a bookworm like most Eagles. And to be thought as a Huffie too because.....Well, she just wasn't Hufflepuff material. However, Cassia's parents were both lions and she herself thought that she would be one.
Rising to her feet and holding the cat up with her, "
I have an owl," Cassia said. "
Though I love cats but I wanted to have an owl for school for a change. Considering we have two cats at home," She told Ari. And mentioning the two cats Cassia already felt herself longing for them though she had just this morning played with them.
