Emmaleigh had stood biting her lip for a moment, unsure of what to do. First her floor buddy declared that she be part of his team. Then the other guy went ahead and paid for her game. Well, that decided it, she couldn’t back out now. The redhead quickly grabbed a pair of the bowling shoes, hoping they would fit. The man didn’t even ask for their sizes. There wasn’t a thing as magical bowling shoes was there?
She followed along to their lane, and sat down. After shoving her bag under her seat, she looked around at her companions. “Um, thanks for inviting me to join you.” She said, looking to the two who had been actually gotten her to join. Then, addressing, them all she introduced herself. “Oh, and I’m Emmaleigh.” She said giving a small smile.
Then, taking off her fancy flats her mother had insisted on her wearing, the girl realized she wasn’t wearing socks. “Crap!” she let out as she grabbed her bag and dug through it. There, stuffed inside the extra pair of shoes she had brought, was a pair of socks. Relieved, she then put the socks and bowling shoes on. Now she was ready to bowl. |
