Only to a few people it seemed like such as her bestfriends and other companions she deemed trustworthy enough and fun to be with. "Are you really directing me to a website?" Those were some sort of address you need so you can visit a certain cut in a personalized appliance much like the television at the Muggle World. To say it was confusing wasn't an understatement. "Your website, for that matter?" Beezus grinned, shaking her head.
Arriving at the corner, she slumped down on the bench and slowly took off her shoes before sliding in the provided footwear by the man behind the counter who she totally ignored. She stretched her legs first as she waited for Erin to get ready but their talk continues on. She never really knew Elise that much, they were friends, yes, but they weren't that close. "Is that it? I never had an idea. Where's her mother anyway?" Frankly, she was quite concerned with how Elise was holding up.
It was like they were having an agreement on who gets to talk to a handsome Professor first. She didn't mind, really. Her care for Erin and Indy were equal in nature but she met Erin first and with the current state of her and Indy's friendship, she was unsure if she even had a bestie anymore. Tearing away her eyes from her bestfriend, she averted her gaze to the other players already starting their game on lane 1. "Actually...Indy and I are not in very good terms right now." Beezus sighed. And the reason? Pfft. Something she still couldn't understand.
Now, unto the part she didn't quite get. She moved her eyes back to the fellow eagle and shrugged nonchalantly. "Okay, I'm calm. Now tell me." It was half-demanded, half-requested. During Christmas? Yes, yes. She remembered. Why? "Yeah.. what happened then?" A quizzical look embroidered over her young features.
What a witch! From facts that she knew about Beezus, she wasn't entirely familiar with Muggle stuffs. Erin, being a Muggleborn, a fabulous Muggleborn for that matter, she wanted to impart her great knowledge and experiences with her bestfriend. That includes using phones, one thing she suggested Beezus way before and now a website.
"YOU? How did you know the details about a website. Have you already made a Facebook account?" Erin definitely demands for an answer Bee.
"Anyways, triple W dot Erih Heyman dot com is only a vision today but one day, I know it'll happen." Especially when she becomes Minister of Magic.
Shoes all ready. Beezus. Check. Erin. Check. Now, ready to bowl.
"She doesn't have a mother anymore. Hers died. Just like mine." Well, that was before because her real mother was alive and kicking. She hoped the next statements wouldn't confused Beezus. She wanted her to understand, really. But before she could start her story, WHAAAAT? Indy and Beezus are not in good terms? How long did the ignoring issue happened actually for it made the both of them meet some few good treasurable friends. Erin doesn't really know Indy, they've never been formally introduced for the past three terms they were schoolmates and batchmates in Hogwarts. But she thinks she's nice, she's Beezus' bestie after all and what Beezus likes, Erin likes.
"Why? What's the problem?" Erin was a bestfriend, couldn't she ask a little thing about the bestie? Just a bit of course, too much would probably taken by Beezus as invasion of bestie privacy. One thing, Erin wouldn't like others messing with her either. She's, er, a bit possessive. Trying to concentrate on their discussion, Erin couldn't help but notice the cool shruken heads they'd be dealing with later, they weren't cute at all. They were ugly, even.
"Er, if only you wanted to share of course, "Erin added.
And now, onto the new family. What really happened that day was still a cloudy part of Erin's life. She didn't understand her father for giving her up, how her real parents found her, how she easily let herself go with them. But one thing was for sure, she was HAPPY, is happy and always will be happy with her biological one. Nod. She smiled before responding,
"I..er..Let's put it this way, I lived my life happy when I was young, cursed my father for changing when my mother died and cursed him even more when he gave me away for some random people I didn't even had a slight familiarity with. Yes," she glanced towards Beezus,
"...I am adopted. And I never knew until my parents came to our house's door and told me they were my real parents." How could Erin keep the aura cool? Perhaps because of the shrunken heads around them? So, Beezus!reaction?
