Who Am I? Ern's 2460FUN Aye... of course you can't.
Selina was about to protest to that comment, but he was right. Not only could Selina not lie to him, but she virtually could not lie to anyone else. Aside from some kind of not-being-able-to-lie-person, Selina was the worst liar she knew. It had something to do with the fact that she either laughed her way through it or she stuttered. And stuttering was an understatement. Her stutter was unmatched.
Oh so, playing with the ends of his hair tickled him? A smirk etched across her face, but it was more scheming then her usual smirks. She finally had something that tickled him in sorts-- oh how she was going to revel in this newfound discovery. Playing up the innocence, she continued to loosely move her fingers through the ends of his hair, "This," she bat her eyelashes, "feels funny, does it?" True, it was probably not as ticklish as the way he tickled her, but it was something and she was going to play this out... hopefully it didn't backfire. Jake was furious. He had spent the past few days at practice in Ireland and he was fed up with his team. They were getting lazy and they were going to make him look bad. That kid Carter Phillips had thwarted them their last match and they had to make sure that they were one-hundred percent ready for the game against Bulgaria. But it seemed that his team was content with their cup win last season and they had, in turn, become increasingly lazy. Now was NOT the time to get lazy though, they had to up their game.
That was why Jake had apparated home. He needed a day or two to clear his head and let his team think about the way that they had behaved out on the pitch. He was getting too old for all of this nonsense. They either needed to want it or get lost. There was no time in Quidditch for the in-betweeners.
Once he was back on his property, he headed out to the broom cupboard out by their pitch. He wanted to put a few things away before he headed back to the house. Hopefully Selina was up by now.
