Gideon was about to answer when she seemed to stutter out her question on his presence there or rather trying to find the right words to use. So the prefect meerly waited until she appeared done and then proceeded to reply. "What...I can't surprise ye?"
He raised and eyebrow before curiously looking around them both. "Ye don't have another boyfriend around here do ye?" There was just a touch of jest in his voice but he was acting as serious-looking as he could about it. There was no reason he couldn't have a little fun, as long as there werent parents...or siblings around. "Or trying to hide something else?"
