Evan was just going to reach for the owl pellets when someone commented on his owl toy. Was that a joke? He turned to see an owl toy identiccal to the one he had chosen in the hands of a girl. "I like yours too," he said, giving her a smile. She was a bit smaller than him, definitely under five feet tall, but she seemed kind all the same. "I'm Evan. Yeah? A third year? Me too." She definitely was small for a thirteen year old, but that probably would rude to say. "Yeah. I have a family owl that I'll be taking to Hogwarts. His name is Macintosh. He's a snowy owl."
