She and Sal and Ace and Dora are my cousins. The only ones I have really." AND why had she said so many ands? That was repetitive and grammatically INcorrect. Ugh.
"Dude. I just want a peanut butter and banana sandwich. Lexi and them... they eat strange stuff. They're all British and stuff. It's weird." SNORT! "And I've been to New York quite a bit. Manhattan proper mostly. Spent a weekend in the Hampton's once. Hehe. I'm from Chicago, though. I love big cities."
Too much sugar? Actually, now that Addy mentioned it, she had had a little extra syrup in her oatmeal at breakfast so she may have had a bit too much sugar as it were - not that Kurumi really saw the connection to what was going on right now though. Ravenclaws...they always thought the strangest things.
"
I do," Kurumi nodded enthusiastically. "
Lexi became like an older sister to me." Or like another mom, but sister was the word that happened to slip out of her lips at the moment. Both were true though. Sister or mother it didn't really matter. Lexi had been, and still was, very important to Kurumi.
"
Peanut butter and banana?" Kurumi repeated cocking her head to the side. "
I...I don't think I've ever had peanut butter. We only have peanut butter cream in Japan and it is really sweet." Which could go well with bananas now that she thought about it. "
You've been to so many places! I've hardly ever been out of Japan." As for big cities...Kurumi preferred the small towns. Made her feel less, well, small.
