"I've got an inverted Ehwaz on the left, an inverted Berkano on the right, an inverted othala on the bottom, and kenaz on the top." She wrinkled her eyebrows inward, putting a confused expression on her face. "What's with all the inverted rune, I wonder?"

Oh, yeah. She had to think of a question and then use her runes to answer it, pretty much. Hmm...

Will Slytherin win the Quidditch Cup next school year?

"So I asked if it we'd win the Quidditch Cup next year," she said. Then smirking, she added, "Of course we will, but...let's see what the runes say."

"The inverted ehwaz means a failure to work together or a disappointment," she said. She gave Dylan a look. That didn't sound too good... "The inverted berkano means a failure to initiate something." Merlin. Maybe she should have asked it if the Puffers would win the Cup instead... "The inverted othala means poverty, family issues, or disorder." This was a terrible reading! This was why she hated runes. They lied. Simple as that. "...and finally, kenaz means good energy, light, and power lighting the way. Well, we'll just...use the kenaz part of that reading to answer my question. Dylan, we've got to use our Slytherin power next term. Pull out all the stops..."
