10. Arithmancy

No matter what Darby Finnigan did, we knew it was going to be hilarious. He liked trying to pull off pranks, hence the word trying; but even when his attempts failed they turned out to be funny anyway.

Olivia gathered with the other students, all eyes on Darby. He squinted his dark brown eyes as he lit a firework, as inconspicuously as possible; in the middle of Arithmancy. It exploded all right! Going off with a bang, the firework erupted like dynamite instead of a light show. The desk was covered in dust, and Darby's hair was standing on end.
