Jade ran a hand through her brunette locks and finally looked back up at Nikolas.
"Look, I'm not okay with you not telling me why you left and I'm hoping that you will tell me eventually. And I'd like to give us a chance again because I think you'll finally tell me what's going on, ...especially since I love you." Jade blushed.
"But if you repeat that to anyone else, I never said it." It was pretty rare when Jade was really sentimental to a person and if Nikolas broke her heart again, it would be payback time.
Right. The unicorns. Jade rolled her eyes and laughed.
"Yes, because that's what I really dream about when weird girl and I are best friends." She shook her head.
