Then Alyssa noticed him pulling out his History of Magic homework from his back. "Are you going to be working on your History of Magic homework? I've already completed mine. I totally love History of Magic. It was totally cool being able to go to Atlantis."
The girl began YAPPING on about her Firebolt. Oh great. Elijah kind of deserved it since he had kiiiindddaaa, sorrrrtttaaa diiiiiiidddd teeeeccchhhnnnniiiccallllyyy ask. But that didn't mean she had to take him UP on his disinterested interest. He simply nodded along to what she was saying about her broom and when she was done he even gave her a, "Sounds cool," because he was a nice guy like that.
He lightened up a little when the conversation turned back to him and she started enquiring about his work out regime. "I mostly just run every morning. Occasionally i'll swim if it is a hot day or I feel like a change, but mostly just running."
"Um what...?" Elijah had been in a bit of a daydream imagining himself running by the lake and how, obviously, gorgeous he must look whilst doing so. Then his mind jiggered something about History of Magic. "Oh this," he said pointing down at the parchment, "Well... I was just gonna have a look at it. Will probably do it later." Yeah, probably last minute and to the worst of his abilities.
