As soon as the Professor said they could continue collecting their sticks, Jory continued. He found the fir tree and snapped off a twig. The Elder tree was next and he had no trouble getting one of those twigs. But the blackthorn was a bit harder and the had to really stretch as the twigs were a bit higher.

The reed and Ivy trees were fairly close to each other and the Puff got those twigs with no problem. With all the students around, he had to search for the Vine tree but when he did find it, he snapped off another twig.

Next, he got the Apple and Hazel twigs.

Once in a while Jory checked the surrounds and the trees for any more lurking Bowtruckles.
