And two for three sickles?! That was a steal! She dug in her bag for some change, pulled out a few sickles, and sighed as she stretched her neck to look for yet another worker...She saw a girl nearby who looked like she might be having the same problem...

"I can't seem to find out how to pay, either..." she told the other woman, furrowing her eyebrows curiously.
She tried looking over the counter...maybe the person was around the back or something...should she have called...? Or would that have been inappropriate. Ooh it should have been illegal for her to have the chocolate so close and yet so far awaaaay...

The person was lucky she had decided to be decent today...

Oh...another worker--also having the same problem nonetheless! Just what was going on anyway. She didn't have all day to stand here and watch the cake mocking her.

"This is going to be a huge problem..." She glanced down at the chocolate cake in her hands. "Do you remember seeing anyone on the way over here?" Maybe the woman could have been more help than she realized.
