"What about you? Do you play the game? Someone who looks as fit as you, I bet would do great in any sport." Alyssa asked Elijah.
"Don't apologise to
me for sliming on the sofa. I could care less. It is the sofa you should be apologising to," he smirked. "I guess quidditch practice can be enough to make you sweat," he nodded his head slightly as he agreed with her. Despite that, though, Elijah sweated anytime he went his runs, but he made sure to sweat in an attractive way. It took time and practise to perfect, but it wasn't impossible.
"You have a Firebolt?" Elijah enquired since this seemed like the correct thing to say in this situation. Truth was Elijah had no care for flying or quidditch. Why would he use a broom when he could practically floo anywhere and would soon be able to apparate when he became of age? As for quidditch, competitive sports never attracted him at all and he tried to stay clear of it as much as possible. All the hostility and ugly competitiveness from both the players and spectators was
extremely unattractive.
"I don't play, no," he said simply to her, "There are other ways in which to stay fit and I prefer to do those than play quidditch." Flying about on a broom was less intensive than going out a power run. In fact, flying about on brooms was practically
lazy in itself.
He removed his History of Magic homework from his bag and pretended to be looking over the questions the Professor had set them. He at least hated History of Magic more than quidditch...
