Jonathan still ignored looking at her and remained to his place. He was no longer grooming his owl because his focus is now on this conversation they are having. Jonathan did say not to speak with her ever again but right now, speaking wouldn't really fix anything....... even though they're sort of not doing that at any moment. What was there really to fix? Over and over again, he somehow knows that this--- whatever this may be--- will never be fixed. To him that is. So for the next few moments, Jonathan glance his head back to his owl as he waited for Kurumi to react on what he said.
He knew that those words were very hurtful, hurtful enough for him to swallow more than Kurumi perhaps. He also knows that because of that one simple reply, this conversation will be longer than he expected. His eyes moved over to the door, it'd be easier if he just left right? Just like he did eight months ago.
Still he didn't. Both his feet were not charmed but he felt like someone glued them on the ground. He wanted to just walk away. Kurumi has no right to accuse him of this. NO. She's wrong. She's very wrong. He can't believe that she thinks of him in that way!
If you think this act is helping me...you're wrong.
Partly, she is right about him acting oblivious all the time but that was just Jonathan. He doesn't give out too much expression to people and even to her, not that he is going to admit this to her. He remained silence to her scolding. It didn't sound like one but it definitely looks like it is. WAIT! So she knows he is acting? All the while, Jonathan just thought his poker face is working. Or is it that he is putting much detail to what she just had said. Truth be told, out of the many people that became part of his life, Kurumi is one of those people that can read Jonathan like a book................... and sadly, he misses that part.
He then knelt on the floor as he opened his bag and just shuffled his things there for no reason at all. It was weird standing like that and the more silent they have to be, the more Jonathan can't stand it. Not even one bit. While fixing his things on his bag, Kurumi spoke once again.
Some people...don't change...
His head turned to her and then he saw that the gap between the two of them was nearer than before. But what alarmed him the most is the fact that she was still holding on to his necklace. The one she gave her before his father had to send him away. He still remembered about making a joke if ever she looses it. Only now, she can throw it if she wants.
Standing up, Jonathan's eyes were still on that piece of jewelry on her hand. Don't change... her words echoed through his mind. And without thinking, he just quickly replied "You changed while I was gone" and that's what he meant when he replied her earlier. His eyes shifted to her. "Don't point my flaws after our break up, Kurumi because last time I checked you cheated on me." his tone is now getting annoyed. "Are you returning that back?" he said pointing to the necklace. If she has no longer have any use of it, he can just throw it away.
