Ella left the library and headed down the fourth floor corridor, eyeing the book she found on grindylows with curiosity. The second year was both fascinated and horrified by the little creatures, mostly because they were little and powerful and deadly. She was only one of those three things and she was quite interested in the other too. Though she'd never ever want to be deadly! EEP! That wouldn't be good.

Continuing to read as she walked, a nasty habit the second year had picked up, Ella was unaware of anyone else in her path. Besides, people would move out of her way when they saw her coming, yeah?
