"Exactly. Tibet is the other one I was thinking of, although we know from experience that any country with a dragon reserve struggles to keep the dragons a secret. The United States and Canada have issues with Sasquatch, a close cousin of the Yeti. Greece has the Chimaera. Anywhere you go on the globe, there's a Wizarding Ministry struggling to hide large, dangerous creatures from the Muggles." Which... was a full time job for people in those Ministries and in the ITF.

Well duh.

However seeing as another employee had answered for that with an answer that seemed just as right, Simon opted to offer an idea for the second question posed to them as a group. "The Department of Accidents and Catastrophes would work with the Statute by first using the Invisibility Task force to hide things from muggles and then by using Obliviators, Reminiscators and the Muggle Worthy Excuse Committee to help muggles forget if they actually did accidentally see something they shouldn't have." Their whole purpose seemed to be handling the secrecy of the wizarding world...well almost their whole purpose.
"Very well thought out answer, Mr. Bennett," Cade couldn't help but give the young man a grin. He was eagerly answering every question he put forth. Either he was the competitive type... or he really wanted free lunch. Either way, she appreciated his participation.

"Since it's an international statute, wouldn't international cooperation have a hand in... enforcing it? And keeping laws, regulations, trading standards, etc. up-to-date?"

Hem hem, Wizengamot people and IUMO employees. This question was up their alley too.
Oh, the boss man was playing! Cade hesitated before giving his point to the MLES. "Another good example, sir. Even though each country is responsible for enforcing the Statute for itself, we have to continue discussion with other nations as part of that enforcement. For example, our current ban on magical carpets directly effects our relationship with those countries that make and export those carpets and have not ruled them illegal."

With a flick of her wand, Cade updated the scoreboard.

"I just mentioned that flying carpets are illegal in this country, as are a number of other magically enhanced Muggle artifacts. What is the name for the list of objects that wizards are forbidden to imbue with magic?"
