Then Vickers really creeped him out. Did he have to sound so scared when he asked that. Now he was scared too. I don't know he responded hesitantly.
There was some wind in the air. Nothing like a cool night breeze right? Except that it made Oakey shiver and the sound it made as it rustled the leaves. How was he going to tell if there was something watching them. Way to go Vickers you've got Oakey clutching the wand in his robe now.
He gave the younger Puff a reassuring smile, far more than what he actually really felt

hoped the Badger didnt do it on purpose, but he can see the nervousness on the boy as clearly as he can feel his own. He needed to be reassured, not berated for something so trivial.

It was a little noticeable that Professor Bellaire was very nervous about this. She had her wand gripped tightly in her hand and at the ready and every now and then when there was rustling in the bushes or trees she'd point her wand at it. She was no DADA teacher or professional dueler but she was not going to get attacked nope.
She looked behind her to make sure the students were maintaining the lines and everyone was okay.
Finally they got to the clearing that had a large tree with low hanging branches. It was situated in an area where there was just enough space to let moon light in through the canopying trees. Perfect for her lesson today.

As peaceful as the forest walk seemed, Vickers wasnt very at ease for many reasons, primary of which the Professor didnt explain what they were doing there in the first place. IF she said they were hunting, or observing, or collecting something, he'd be a taaaaad more confident since there was an objective and he can keep his mind focused on that.
He saw the clearing up ahead and the class filed into it. He looked around, now there was absolutely nothing to protect them other than each other. He shifted on his feet when the Professor offered that the could sit. Looking at the ground he thought for a moment then decided to sit on his haunches. IF something happened at least he'd be quicker on his feet.
He watched the Professor start the discussion and wrote those words in the air. He recognized the first and the last, but not the middle. A tentative hand goes up
"Professor... does it have anything to do with moon shine?..." he was staring at the middle word, he wasnt quite sure what that meant...
