Okay, so he had properly cooked the fish. She would have suggested that it was just bad fish but that still wouldn't explain why he had been ill for so long. "Well from now on I suggest you only eat food that has been prepared already. No catching and cooking it yourself." If he still continued getting sick then she would know it wasn't his cooking.
And there was that blush again. "Whatever it was you had, that potion should have knocked it out of you as soon as you swallowed it." Walking over to the cupboard she pulled out another vial then walked back over to the bed the professor was sitting on. "Here, you can take this with you. If you start feeling sick again I want you to take this... all of it, then come see me immediately." She really didn't think he would have a need to take the potion but if it would make him feel better to take something with him then she would let him.
See, he was feeling hungry already. "I suggest you keep it light for now. Don't go loading your stomach with heavy, greasy foods." If he did that after everything his body had just been through then he may find his food coming out the other way... faster than he was putting it in.
Which is exactly when he would need to take the potion she just handed him.
"Right, I didn’t know that the infirmary at the school was so busy. If I need I can always come find you in the infirmary if it’s acute." Leobald wasn’t going to endanger his health again like he had done with the stomach disease. Cece was right you couldn’t be irresponsible when it came to health.
"I won’t, I promise. I shall only eat properly prepared food from the house elves." It would spoil the joy of fishing but then again there were other things he could busy himself with in his free time outside the library. Maybe get to know his co-workers better and possibly even make peace with William about the nickname thing.
Taking the vial from Cece he pocketed it safely in his robes.
"Thank you. I’ll keep the potion on hand. Hopefully I won’t need to use it." Jumping off the bed, he waited a moment to see if he’d feel dizzy or not. Feeling nothing he beamed at her
"Thanks for curing me. Now I shall head back to the library. I can’t leave the restricted section too long without supervision."
Walking towards the observation ward door he called over his shoulder
"Bye Cecelia." Pushing open the door, Leobald left the infirmary.
