Pulling the letter out, she looked to Laura and smiled before looking at what was written.

Dearest Laura,

I'm sure that you find this odd, to be receiving a letter from me and not your mother, but I felt it was time that I wrote myself. It has been brought to my attention the somewhat random 'incidents' that you have been involved in this past year. It is without saying that I am not pleased at all with this behaviour, but as a former student, I know how sometimes you can get a bit carried away with having fun. I was once like that, but there is a time to play and a time to learn. You two were not sent there to play, but to learn and I believe that it is time that you act like the schoolgirls you are meant to be. By no means, do I expect you be outshine all the other students. I just want you to apply yourselves.

As you know, I have given your sister an ultimatum and if needed, I will give you one as well. It is all up to you now.

Upon finishing the letter, she looked to Laura. "See it wasn't bad news at all and he does love you." It wasn't completely bad news in her eyes at least. "He cares about how we do and that has to mean something, don't you think?" There was no hate for any of them and Lana was going to make sure that Laura understood that. Motioning to the door again, she shrugged a shoulder. "Library now?"

Laura looked at Lana and smiled. "I'm sure I want you to read it, obviously daddy has his reasons." Laura said truthfully, like Lana had told him what she had been upto well she can't say she hadn't been warned, but it still wasn't nice to know your own sister would tell tales on you, the old Lana wouldn't have done that.

Laura listened to what Lana had to say, she wasn't sure if her father actually cared for her but he did help her build the boat since Aaron had disappeared without a trace so maybe he did love her just a little bit. "Okay maybe Daddy loves me a little." Laura then waited. "I don't think so Lana."

And right there it was she had prove Lana had told on her how else did her Daddy know what she had done but then something Lana said caught her attention "What does Daddy mean by Ul---tom---ato? Seriously who wanted an ultomato?
