After the whole Oakey incident Kennedy returned his attention back to Lafay. Fiiiinally, back to work. He put his gloves on and took out his wand and cleaned the scalpel with a quick Scourgify. He followed as instructed and made an incision under the scale by the fin on the plimpy. He then removed the fins and placed them on his tray, and watched them disappear. He followed the next instructions and made a face at the popping sound. Ewww.

Kennedy was once again distracted when students began saying that...

Sierra?!

His head spun faster than a rolling pin. His eyes wide just stared at her while his hands gripped the back of the chair tightly. What was going on?! Only, that THIS worried him. It was Sierra that had frozen now. As soon as Lafay threatened to take off points though Sierra came back to her senses and...pointed at that puffer boy.

"He did what?!" he said, already fixing a glare upon the kid.

Kurumi had just set the scalpel down and was about to offer Jonathan a small smile out thanks when Professor Lafay exploded again and her head snapped to the front. Wait, what? Sierra had frozen too? Hadn't that...happened...wait, no, she had only heard about it. Maybe...her memory was fuzzy these days so it made little sense.

Her eyes went towards Sierra. No one in their right mind would cast a spell at Sierra during a lesson, especially a Lafay lesson.

Kurumi's attention spun around to the younger lion who was accusing her of freezing. WHAT was she talking about?! Jaw hanging open slightly, Kurumi simply stared at the girl and shook her head as she leaned over the table just a bit. "Narumi, what are you talking about? I've never fro------"

Kurumi's forward movement came to a sudden stop, but it was not enough to stop her statue-like body from moving forward a bit more and she fell in such a way that she was leaning against his shoulder with all her weight so she was quite literally leaning against him for support. Kurumi's eyes were looking straight head, mouth still open in midsentence, and nothing about her was moving.

Oh but wait "Slime?" his repeated eyes wide in palpable fear between Oakey and Sierra, finally resting on the now seething Slytherin Prefect. With a shaky gloved hand he points and utters "bodily-fluid contact."

Then his eyes goes straight to Lewis. Yes he has now known the painful truth about him and Kurumi, having given no validity to a gossip rag but my how his opinion have changed about it now. Eyes goes to the Gryffindor Prefect, just as someone yells out about Kurumi experiencing habitual freezing just as they were all witnessing now. And as if that weasnt enough, Kurumi freezes RIGHT BEFORE HIS EYES "Body fluid contact..." he repeated again. "Williamson could've gotten in from Roro, or the many animals in his care... this could be a water-borne disease, even moisture in the air-- spreads around the grounds-- that would explain why Professor Vindictus got it too." he said, in an eerily calm voice but one cant mistake the SHEER TERROR that is just shaking with every word.

His eyes returns now to Professor Lafay "Professor, do you still think this is a prank? Isnt it more logical, given the evidences happening right NOW, that we are in the midst of an outbreak? Right now in your classroom, with all of us in here? With Plimpies from the LAKE cut up and open and exposed in such a confined environment? he wants to drop in a fetal position and just CRY, so terrified now that he is seeing DEATH in the EYE. But no not before asking for his ONE HOPE "Can you administer that potion now please? I dont want to get what they've got. I want to graduate from Hogwarts. I want to live "

And even though she knew that at this point, Professor Lafay was too angry to notice whether she raised her hand or not, Alyssa raised her hand and addressed everybody, especially the Professor.

"Professor, no disrespect, but I don't believe that Oakey did it. He may have accidentally slimed Sierra but I don't believe that the slime caused her to freeze. Look at Lewis, he froze first and he wasn't slimed."

Then Alyssa looked at Kurumi,"I'm not sure who slimed Kurumi, and even though she now got hit by the freezing charm, doesn't it require someone who knows how to cast the spell to do it and wouldn't that require wand. Not many of us know how to cast that spell except the older students."

"Professor you are the best person to determine who cast the spell. If you could, could you please test our wands? I hate to see friends become enemies because of what is going on in class right now."

'Plus I want to get back to harvesting this Plimpy and get out of this class.' Alyssa thought to herself.
